About

Hi I’m Jane, and I specialise in Wedding and Portrait photography.

I love the variety that comes with shooting different subjects, but most of all I love to work with people. People make us laugh, make us cry and make world go round, and its this narrative that I love to capture. I love to take photographs that tell a story.

After studying music to degree level, I worked on the road as a tour manager and photography came very naturally to me. I often spent time watching performances from the wings in very low light situations, and with fast movements learning how to take a good photograph became essential. Luckily for me it also seemed second nature very quickly. I was hooked.

I shoot all my weddings using digital. I have an admiration for film, but I adore the instantness that comes so easily with digital. I love that I can shoot my subjects, and within minutes be sharing them for all to see.

In case you hadn’t guessed by now, I am a total geek when it comes to photography, but I totally love what I do. I enjoy meeting and getting know people, and building that vital connection of trust between client’s and myself. I especially like being made to feel part of the family at a wedding, and the feeling of satisfaction and of privilege knowing that I have captured something so special.

I absolutely love to photograph a couple in love. If I had to describe my style it would be fun, fresh and utterly romantic.

London is where I am based. It’s where my family call home. It’s also where we got married,  and had our beautiful daughter Lyla.

Although I love to live here,  I love to work from anywhere, so feel free to contact me if you are planning your wedding and looking to find your photographer.

Peace

Jane x
